Skateboarding used to be my main mode of transportation in my preteen and teenage years. When I didn’t have car rapide or Sotrac money—when I didn’t want to bother—I just hopped on my joint and started kicking, pushing, and coasting. Mermoz, Plateau, Dieuppeul, Niari Tali, Point-E, Fass, Fann Residence.... As long as there was a half decent road, I was as good as gone. I loved it. I craved it. I have a couple of scars and one busted tooth to prove it.
The monster on the shot is a Landyachtz Pinner on 76mm Kryptos. Perfect for cruising. A tank. I
take it out on Sundays and I get to feel like a kid again.
